E.J. Lajeunesse Institute Du Sport Academique

The E. J. Lajeunesse Hockey Academy is a skills development program licensed by Hockey Canada and conducted at Central Park Athletics. Students in the program have the opportunity to develop their ice hockey skills while enjoying a balance between education and sport that will allow them to achieve their academic and personal goals.

The program is delivered entirely in French. It provides increased technical and tactical development of individual hockey skills and also basic skills applicable to other sports and in other areas (including coordination, leadership, etc.)

The program is open to students all skill levels in Grades 7 to 12, both male and female. The only requirements are a passion for hockey and a dedication to learning and growing, both academically and athletically. A total of 70 students are currently enrolled.

Sport Academies of WECDSB

The Academies of WECDSB offer students an opportunity to pursue their individual passions by focusing their efforts on particular disciplines, both athletic and academic. Whether it's learning a trade, developing their skills in a certain sport activity, or advancing their knowledge in such academic areas as Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, we have a variety of academies throughout our schools that help our students become more fully engaged with their education.

Giovanni Caboto Soccer

The G. Caboto Soccer Club has a long history in Windsor and Essex County, dating back to 1951.  Winners of four Ontario Cup Championships, the Club is well known and respected throughout Ontario and has a reputation of being a family-like setting for the development of your child – not only as a soccer player ,but also as a person. 

Grassroots Program

The Caboto Soccer Club has programs for boys and girls aged 8 to 12 who can learn the game of soccer in a pressure free and positive environment.  These grassroots players come from our recreational partners at the South Windsor Youth Soccer Club and McAuliffe Park Soccer and work on their individual skills as well as team building.  The program consists of 1-2 nights of practices per week in the winter and 2 practices and games in the summer. 

Competitive Program (13-18 years old)

The Caboto Soccer Club has been involved in youth competitive soccer in Windsor Essex County since the 1970’s.  The program sponsors coaches, players and teams to participate in the Essex County Soccer League where they develop their skills and compete with other local clubs.  The teams in the competitive program also visit tournaments in the US and Canada to test their skills. 

Senior Program (19 and Up)

Caboto Soccer also supports a U21 men’s team, Senior Men and Senior Women’s programs.  Our senior men and U21 men participate in the Essex County Soccer League and our Senior Women have teams in both the local league and the Ontario Women’s Soccer League.  The 4 Ontario Cup Championships have come in the Senior Divisions.

Liverpool FC International Academy

Liverpool Football Club International Academy (Michigan) is a travel soccer club with headquarters in Pontiac, Michigan. It is part of Liverpool FC International Academy America, an official partner of LFC of Liverpool, England. LFC Michigan has more than 600 players aged 8-18 who compete in premier and mid-level select programs. The club also offers developmental programs for ages 3-10.

Windsor AAA Zone

All Windsor AAA travel hockey teams play their home games at Central Park Athletics.

Windsor AAA Zone is the governing body for ‘AAA’ hockey in the Windsor region. It includes players from Windsor Minor Hockey Association,  LaSalle Minor Hockey Association and Riverside Minor Hockey Association in the Midget, Bantam, Peewee & Atom Divisions

Windsor AAA Zone is an advocate for and promoter of ‘AAA’ hockey in the area. Its goal is to  further the development of ‘AAA’ hockey programs by encouraging the highest degree of sportsmanship and fair treatment among its members and participants/players.
